    Hi everyone,

I have VOB and IFO files I want to burn to a dvd-r, but havent a clue what to do about it!!
Basically, the folder on my pc (xp) contains:
    IFO Files -
    VIDEO_TS
    VTS_01_0
    VTS_02_0

and also these VOB files -

    VTS_01_0
    VTS_01_1
    VTS_01_2
    VTS_01_3
    VTS_01_4
    VTS_02_1

With the VOB files, there is no particular icon, what i mean is i get the 'windows cannot open this file' message when i click on them.

Could someone please advise me on what to do to burn these files to disc, to make the dvd watchable?
Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated (and i mean GREATLY - it really is doing my head in now after roughly 5,000 useless Google searches)

    Thanks,

    jImMy_JaZz

    5000 searches ... ya ok ! Keep reading 5001

Most software will open VOB's. WinDVD, PowerDVD even WMP. Right Click , Open With...

What burning software are you using?

Assuming you have all the correct files, put All VOB, IFO, BUP files into a VIDEO_TS folder and burn the DVD. (some older settop players may require the AUDIO_TS - make the folder and leave empty)
If you are not sure if you have all the correct files, use a DVD-RW or make an image/iso and run the dvd in daemon tools (an optical drive emulator)

Imgburn can burn from the folder under build mode. Here is a guide:
