I have a clip thats 288mb that I bring into Vegas to Edit all I do is make some cuts, when I render the file comes out 3 times the original size. I tried to render as a WMV(the OG video source)Mpeg1 & Mpeg2. I know there are alot of options to customamize but whih options directly effect file size? I'm looking to keep the quality abouth the same as the orginal source.

I'm actually goung to have a bunch of similer size files some with effects. The finished project will have about 3.5hrs of footage. I was rendering each one by themselves to avoid a super long render. Then I was going to put the files together on DVDFlick. I started with 1WMV & the rest were VOB files I converted to WMV. Im sure theres a easier faster & better way
