wmp visualization effects

greetings
my need is to incorporate the effects of those visualizations that move to
music in WMP (into a video- as background)...i have exhausted trying to capture them
with FRAPS and other
media so i ask is there ..
a) another video editor solution (i use ulead VS9) that perhaps has this capability or
plugins for such task?

Only way AFAICS is to use some kind of screen recorder.

Hi Mats,
yes i have tried using screen recorders= FRAPPS and CAMstudio but i have many problems as
they both cannot keep up with the frame rates even though i alter, and cannot store audio properly
so i end up with very slow and jerky clips with no audio.
Oh well, the search continues..

What I'm trying to say is: I don't think there is any other way than a screen recorder.
You can add the audio once you've got the video captured.
Oh - one other way i can think of: If you have TV out, hook your gfx card up to a DVD recorder and capture your screen that way.
