    read error occured at address 004DCA9A of module 'TMPGEncDVDAuthor3.exe' with 7E05CF84

    anyone know whay may cause this error?

    Usually some problem with the video file. I've always assumed tha the read error is referencing a read error in the video file. Not a actual can't read from the drive but a can't read the data at that point in the file. IOWs a corrupt file. Run a file check and see what it shows. A file can still be corrupt and play Ok strangely enough.
