  1. I have an RCA dvd player (unsure of model number) which was advertised and it shown in numerous places to play vcds. I know for certain it plays vcds. and on one occasion a friend of mine gave me avcd that he made and it worked. I have tried everything from cdr-s to rws to using nero or easy cd creator or vcd easy and no matter what the vcd never plays in my damn dvd player! i have no idea what the problem could be and any help would be most appreciated!

  2. It may be sensitive to the type of Media Being used, sometimes even the way it is burned can cause problems with some DVD Players, ask your friend how and what he used.

  4. Well, I don't think it would hurt to ask if he was your friend, you should have no problem, last you could do is try and check your DVD Player on the list of players and see what other users may be saying about it with their own experiences.
