I used Pinoys2210's DVD Ripping Guide v 2.3 to make a vcd. Every program previously worked, but have been unable to get vob2audio to work... the guide tells me to click on the first vob file that smartripper made.. and I do the that, but a box pops up that says... "failed to open a file in the list"
What am I doing wrong?

it is not the vob file that you have to click, it's the .lst file.. Make sure when ripping with smart ripper that you check tthe box next to create list file in the option box under settings.. :P

that actually was the file I clicked on and it won't open it... vob.01.lst
I don't know what I did wrong... -
my i know what version fo smartRipper you ae you useing becuase the lst file that the version i use on the guide is not named vob_01_.lst it is most like this vts_01_01.lst and one more thing do not i reapeat do not move your vobs to anther dirtecory when it finished ripping becuase that usually cuases the problem

My computer gets the BSOD when using vob2audio, so I found an alternate audio-extraction-from-vob-file prog called ac3dec. The only problem is that it doesn't combine the audio files after extracting them (not sure if vob2audio does or not) so I had to find another prog to do that. Addawav is what I found for that.
