I'm using Nero Cover Designer.
Asus 1612 drive.

First time I tried a CD burn, it was just a photo, nothing else. turned out well.
the next day, I go to do one.....again just a photo, nothing else...it acts like i tried printing a blank disc. nothing burned. tried again and again. fine, lets try something differet. another color of CD, another picture, added text. it printed the text, ignored the photo.

uninstalled and reinstalled.
works! printed 2.
closed it out.

later that day.........back to not working.

uninstalled and reinstalled this morning. still not working.

i've installed the updates and contrast update from lightscribe site. i install those AFTER nero.


So.
1. WTF is going on???
2. If theres no fix readily available, is there any free or trial lightscribe label burning software I can use?
3. Barring that, what else do you guys use successfully to burn?


Win xp, 1 gig ram, 1.8gh pentium, etc.
