Could someone explain the purpose of this option:-
"Don't check/fix audio discontinuities"
If my AVI file seems to play OK on checking it (though not watching whole thing) before burn, should I have this facility turned on or off?
What does the software identify as an 'audio discontinuity'... and how does it go about fixing it?
Thanks for info.

You can read the VSO FAQ on the subject here
http://www.vso-software.fr/faq.php#technical-7
Personally, if there are sync problems I believe you are better off changing the offending source insteadRead my blog here.

Thanks, I'd already read that brief FAQ.
I do correct out-of-sync sources (with AVIMUXGUI) before giving them to ConvertXtoDVD.
So, if I do not want ConvertXtoDVD to interfere any further with my file because I've manually corrected the audio, I assume the answer is to 'check' the 'Dont check/fix audio discontinuities'?
