    Reindex it. Divfix++ should do it, or better yet (hee hee), make yourself a 5.1 soundtrack with the script: https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=326127

    That batch process will also unpack and reindex your AVI.

    Thanks Soopa...The 5.1 would be great but it is not crucial but I would love to know why my PC sees the widescreen 16x9 tag but the Philips Divx DVD player does not.

    DivxFix did not help me....

    Other ideas???
