    Hello:

Same problem I always have anytime some decides to get creative with the video format of a file to save about 30 MBytes. Is there any way to turn a MP4 file into a standard avi encoded with either xvid or DivX? Please don't say use SUPER because that program just doesn't work. The finished file is horrible it has a tremendous loss of quality.

Please any help would be appreciated.

  2. Yamb may be able to remultiplex the audio and video streams into an AVI container without reencoding.

You can try installing an MP4 splitter (Haali media splitter) and AVISynth then reencode with VirtualDubMod.
