Hi,
This is a very peculiar situation. I used DVD Rebuilder (with CCE SP v 2.70)on my machine a number of times.(though the last was about 6 months back). I tried using the same recently for backing up my movie.Everything seemed to go well. Phase 2 encoding started and completed about 98.3%. And one of the second last files (.vaf file) shows up as 100%. Unfortunately, it is remaining this way for the past 2 hours. The only option that I see on the screen is Abort(which I do not want to use becasue it took almost 12 hours for me to get to this position-old machine)
Any idea what the issue could be(everything else on the computer is working normally). Anything to kick start this??
Thanks in advance!!

If you abort, then restart, won't your version of DVDRB restart where you left off? I've aborted several times in the past, and since DVDRB encodes by cell, you shouldn't have to do the whole thing again, and just pick up where you left off. -

Older versions of DVD-RB had occasional problems with small or blank cells. I remember that these were still be addressed during the 0.9x releases, so 0.64 would definitely be susceptible. Because these issues were dependent on the disc structure itself, plus any re-authoring down to it, it is not unusual that you have not had this problem before.
Upgrading to a more recent version would be the best first step to solving the why part of the problem.Read my blog here.
