    Ya learn something new everyday!

Although has anybody read the fine print, in Portugese? Note the following:

REG.4: Este DVD somente poderá ser reproduzido em aparelhos para a região 4 (Brasil - América Latina).

I can't read Portugese but I'm willing to bet that "região 4" means region 4, so make sure your DVD player is capable or you may be in for a rude surprise.

FNAC is a French DVD/CD/electronics/etc. retailer. If you're American, think of them kind of as Best Buy with more DVDs/CDs or Tower Records or Virgin Megastore with electronics. I have seen their stores in Spain, France and Italy and I know they are also in Portugual, but I didn't know that they were in Brazil.

Warning - Brazilian retailers rarely have English language websites and FNAC websites are only in the language of the country where the website is located. In this case, it will only be in Portuguese. I've ordered from Livrariasaraiva before and their website is only in Portuguese.

You are correct, sir! It does indeed mean region 4.

Another warning - FNAC and Livrariasaraiva both do this - some international websites only ship internationally by 2-3 day trackable carriers such as DSL, but by insisting on such quick delivery, postage costs are often $25 or more. You have no choice but to agree to such outrageous terms for shipping. There's no option to ship it by a cheaper method that takes a little longer.

  4. Thank you for making me look for it. "Some Kind of Wonderful" is now on DVD.

It will be my Day, if "Haven help us" is also released on DVD.

If you're speaking of "Heaven Help Us," it is available. Here's the Amazon.com link...

  7. I also paid to see Howard The Duck in the theaters on opening day. I didn't read any reviews and I actually didn't think it was that bad for a turn the brain off & enjoy movie.

It was just on Encore or Starz a couple of weeks ago so I got a nice copy on DVD from there.
