Recomendation for avi snapshots?

Hello!
I could use a recommendation on capturing snapshots from avi. I'd like to be able to

1) view files with cineform codec

2) view the original video scaled down, but take snapshot at full video res

3) view the original video in the correct aspect ration (it's hdv)

I tried virtualdubmod, but I couldn;t get it to scale the video down in the viewer, or to display in the correct aspect ratio

strangely enough... powerdvd did it kind of, but it often moves to a different frame when I have it paused, and hit capture.

play, pause, click snapshot
