i have a half a movie(mpg) i have cut the credits of the end and its still tooooo big for the cd 783,611kb how can i make this smaller? without killin the quality real bad

That is less than 800 MB and should easily fit on an 80min/700MB CD as a S/VCD without overburning...

Have you tried remultiplexing your MPEG with TMPGEnc with the setting on "MPEG-1 Video-CD (non-standard)"?
