I finally got this program to work after trying it a few times over the last 6 mo, could be the newest version, could be the changes I have made to my computer over that time. But whatever the change it did run through fine, although it did take about 8 hours total to go from dvd to burned svcd. I will tell you this though, the results were well worth the extra time, very superior to vcd's or vhs tape, anyone walking into the room would have a hard time telling it was not a dvd.

If you can get this program to work with you system I would highly recomend it, although I am still very happy with most vcd rips, for those very special movies, ones with alot of action and special effects, I will probubly use dvd2svcd.
