I bought this NextWave TW-5566 N today for 50 bucks. My DVD player burned out after a year of use (It was also 50 bucks). The old one played avi files as well. This one has it setup so I can hook up my External HDD to it via USB. When I turn the player on, it will read the files on the HDD, but it won't play them.
The HDD is a Maxtor 200 GB HDD. It is Fat32 formatted. It doesn't have a partition in it (In fact I've owned this HDD for 2 yrs now and only just turned it on for this.) Anyways, I'm wondering if someone might know what's wrong or what I might be doing wrong or if the HDD is just too big?
