    Hi'
Hope someone can help with my problem very new to working with video.
I just bought a 8GB USB flash disk memory stick to store my video before editing.
After downloading video from my camera tried to view it on WMP but got an error msg COOD1199.I had already been useing a 4GB memory stick diff model, without any problems.
Could anyone advice me on how to resolve this problem.I don't know anything about codec's if that is the problem.
I would be very gratefull for any help as I'm not very good with tech stuff.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Sulliven.

Did you try to open the file in different software player, like Nero, Roxio, PowerDVD just name a few.
I had problem with WMP on some files so I do not use it any more.
It could be that it does not like your stick. I do not think it is a codec if it works with 4GB stick.

Open the file with G-spot to confirm that it is what you think it is, then try VLC to open it.

Thank you both for taking time to reply to my question.
Hi tinker I've tried opening the file with various other players but with no luck.I think you could be right that it dosen't like this type of memory stick as they play fine if I download direct onto the hard drive.
I'll have a look at the file with G-spot as you suggested guns1inger don't know if I'll understand it though.
Lastnight I transfered about 2GB of still photo's to this memory stick but none of the folder are showing up.I aint got a clue if I can retrieve them but they are there as I checked how much disk space was used up.!!
    Cheers for now,
    Sulliven.
