I have a Panasonic DVD recorder DMRES25, with firewire input. I'm trying to copy video from a DV tape, using a Canon ZR700 videocam with firewire out. Copying seems to fine, but the tape does not run all the way through, but staps, it seems, whenever the taping stopped and a scene changed - i.e., where there's a blank spot on the tape. The DVD recorder reports the recording stopped. This makes it impossible to copy a tape unattended. Help! Any suggestions?
Thanks
