It always happens recently before it doesnt
Now When I Split vids and then merge the clips in Vdub using the start range and end arrows the result video is horribly way out of sync.
I Use Direct Stream to Split since no reencoding is needed.
But when I simple split nothing goes wrong..

  2. It wasn't in sync before the merge/split?

  3. First reencde the full file in VDub as XviD with CBR audio [Video as stream copy, audio in full processing ). After creating the fresh XviD, cut it in VDub without loosing sync.

Use AVI splitter.....it doesn't care about VBR/CBR audio.
