While evaluating the new Ulead Movie Factory 6Plus I decided to burn a Xvid AC3 File
to MPEG11,the resulting video was very good but there was no sound.
DVD Audio Extractor verified there was a sound track so I extracted it to file then checked out the
wave form, all it showed was a straight line!
Can anyone tell me what the problem could be?
Burning the same file with Nero gives me audio but some frames are missing.

ulead probably reencodes the ac3 to mpeg audio and it might not work that well. Either demultiplex the ac3 audio from the avi with virtualdumod and try use it as source in ulead or use something else like convertxtodvd, it will leave the ac3 as ac3 when converting to dvd.

Ulead has been screwing up AC3 audio since Ulead Movie Factory 2SE...I believe that was the last one that left AC3 alone....and even then only in certain instances.
