Only get Half the movie

Hello,
I'm using FFMPEGX to convert an AVI, add subtitles and author as DVD ffmpeg.
I tried several times and I always get HALF THE MOVIE.

I guess is some stupid setting I'm missing....
somebody has the same problem?
somebody has any idea what could I do to avoid this problem?

This can happen for several reasons. Perhaps the most common is an error of some type in the source file. Try playing the input file (using whatever you're specifying as the decode player in your ffmpegx settings, eg. QT). Start a bit before where it stops encoding, and see if there's any obvious hiccup there.

Also, click on the info button in the Progress window. There may be some useful hints in the log, as well.

Im decoding with QT, and when I play the source movie in QT it plays Ok.
So I don't know!

I open the info window in the progress bar but its chinese for me...

I'm not a completly newbie but I'm close....

Yes, it does look like total gibberish, doesn't it? Go ahead and paste the contents of the logfile here, and someone who speaks gibberish can help translate.
