Mask Troublesome frames

Hi

I am trying to mask frames which are causing my mpeg file stop during playback on my dvd player. so far ive tried mpeg-corrector, vdub mp3 freeze, videoredo. when i did the "check for video for freezes" in vdub-mp3 it didnt find any. i was just looking for a tool that will mask my bad frames so the portion which corrupted will play smoothly even though i dont see the video clearly.

I suspect the only way to do it is to cut out the bad frames and replace them.

However, other things can cause problems - such as spiking bitrate that goes too high for the player.
