I sure hope someone on here can help me out with this problem, 'cause I really don't know what is causing my problem now.. Ok, as for the problem, when I encode a movie to DVD format, the output is vertically flipped.. And I can't remember changing a setting or something in even any program at all...
The encoder I use is CCE SP, and I have both the Combined Community Codec Pack and ffdshow installed. I just installed both last versions, but that didn't make a change though..
Nor did encoding with just one of these packages, or neither of them at all...-.-
Encoding with a different encoder didn't work either, and I really like this encoder as for the quality it produces, so if you could help me out with, that'd be great
Thanks in advance!

If in doubt, Google it.

But anyway ....
I'd say your registry has some issues - codec packs tend to do that. If uninstalling either ffdhsow and/or the codec pack doesn't fix things, then you can get lost amongst the nightmare that can be registry repair, or take a workaround onboard.
Since you're using CCE SP, that means that you could use AVISynth to load your files, and there's a FlipVertical() command you can use to flip the output back up the right way. Doesn't fix solve the problem permanently, but at least gets you encoding the right way up.If in doubt, Google it. -
If you are using CCE on anything that isn't DV-avi or DVD compliant resolution lossless then you should use avisynth to load the, IMO. Use FitCD to create a simple script, then load this into virtualdub to see if the video is still upside down. If it isn't, load the avs script instead of the avi file into CCE and encode.

Isn't this just the "old codec problem" that is well known and used to have a sticky in somewhere in the forums? The solution to this is just to update your Xvid codec. I don't keep up with Xvid, but based on Gspot it looks like your version of Xvid is way out of date. Supposedly an update will fix your problem, which would certainly be easier than all the other suggestions you've had.

Bah, updating XviD didn't work either..
Thanks for all suggestions though, but damn.. still nothing works.
Also no suggestions on editing your registry, so that it's completely free of all those stupid codecs? -
CCCP includes ffdshow. Uses recent builds too.
The whole point of using something like cccp which is a good pack, is to have a specific ffdshow build that is well tested and has specific settings. Installing another ffdshow over it is most probably a bad thing.
You could install cccp without ffdshow and use a build of your choice but why?
Uninstall all codecs, packs.
Here's something to do in the registry if you insist.
Delete these folders:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GNU\ffdshow
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GNU\ffdshow_audio
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GNU\ffdshow_vfw
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GNU\ffdshow_enc
Re-install cccp and when it gives a 'reset' option say yes.
And what's flipped?
Just the mpeg2 or the avi as well?
Flipped when playback is done with what?
Does this happen with both avis you posted pics of?
I've only had this problem once with a very old divx 3 file.
I also had quite a few codecs installed. Don't remember what I did.
You could also re-install directx 9.
Check your display drivers.
unregister all directshow filters.
Best to start with a clean slate if things don't work out.

I know this is too late, but:
Install the codec (not codecs) you need, as you need them. If a certain video wont play, identify what codec is in play (GSpot), and install that.
Pretty soon, you have a system capable of playing most videos, while not being full of conflicts and broken codecs.
If you can't open a PDF, do you hunt around for and indtall "J-Beam Document reader Pack" that fills your HDD with every document reader ever devised? No, you install Adobe Acrobat Reader.
