    Hi friends,
I have 150 songs from various sources with different sound quality. I want to make them uniform like with same volume(sound) , clarity and amplitude etc.,
Can anyone sugest how to make them uniform by telling some editors or some websites which explains this or any information to acheive good quality for all the tracks.
    Thanks in advance.

  2. For MP3 I use MP3Gain because it's lossless,for WAV I use Audacity.
NOTE:if the quality of the source is bad then there's little you can do to improve it.

Thanks for your reply. Is there any tool, suppose if I give a track as speciman so that it should convert all the remain tracks same qulity like the speciman? What I mean is all the tracks should be uniform.

  4. What do you want?
    Same quality=No
    Same volume=Yes
    Same bitrate=Yes

You can batch normalize with either or batch encode with Audacity, another good batch encoder is CDex.

You realize that in making them 'uniform' you aren't gonna be able to do too much to make the bad ones better? That is, you'll have to make the great ones worse to match the bad ones. Except for volume changing.

21 day Trial. AAMS auto mastering system. It isn't bad, but it is slowwwwwww.....

I would take MOVIEGEEK's advice and just automate something with Audacity. There are also nice filters in Foobar .

I believe dBPowerAmp should be able to do this from Explorer, too.
