Hello. I have a divx video which has a default Spanish soundtrack, as well as English.
When I play as a divx, I can use the divx app to play this in English.
I am wanting to put this on to DVD. The only tool I have to do this is Winavi. Will I still be able to play this in English or will it DEFAULT to the Spanish soundtrack? Is there a tool I can use to strip the spanish soundtrack first before I put this onto DVD or will Winavi do the trick?

You can remove the unwanted audio track by loading the AVI in VirtualDubMod, then delet the track you don't want from the Stream list. Lastly, save out as new AVI with video set to Direct Stream copy.
But please - do yourself a favor, and forget about WinAVI. It's the worst (only rivaled by Nero Vision) choice for this task. If you want a simple way for turning AVI into Video DVD, use convertx2dvd.
Or better yet: get a player that plays AVI files. Then all you have to do is burn the AVI as data file to a CD-R/DVD-R
