  1. It's taking forever to rip and burn now. It went from taking 10 minutes to do a movie to an hour and 45 to rip and another hour and a half to burn. Is it the software or is my burner dying? It's only a month old.

    If it just started giving problems after the software install, my guess would be the software. I don't know what version exactly that you are using, but I do know that a new version of DVDFab (not the free version) was just released for similar reasons.

    I have the newest version of DVDFabHDDecrypter and it works just fine for me.

    Check and make sure your drive is in DMA mode, you do this in device manager. DVDFab has been known to switch some drives to PIO mode after a fresh install from time to time, this will definitely slow your drive down, big time.
