    Does anyone know a free avi to vob converter
    I have searched google but i only found programs that costs

    All softwares that do AVI to DVD, with free softwares at the top of the list.

    Just remember that VOB is not a video file format as such; rather the container for audio, video, subtitles used on Video DVD.
    The process is usually:
    AVI, converted to MPG, authored as Video DVD (on which you among other files you'll find VOB files)
