I've been using Vegas 6.0 for my music videos, and I was saving my clips as huffyuv, and everythign worked perfectly. I got a new computer, and transfered everything (Physically transferred one Harddrive, and transfered the information from the second one) I installed Vegas and huffyuv, along with my other codecs on the new computer, but now Vegas doesn't want to recognize the huffyuv clips at all, it seems. It plays the audio, but the video just shows up as 'media offline'. It's all the same software, so I think it should be able to work. I'm probably missing something obvious, but I can't figure it out.

it is not a codec problem - it is that vegas is looking for the files where they used to be .....

right click on file in project media and select 'replace' -- browse to clip location and select it ...

No, that's not the problem I'm having. I understand about moving files and how to re-connect them with Vegas, this is a different problem. It is really a problem with formats, not files.

If I save a clip using huffyuv, for the first time, and open it to edit in Vegas, the program does not display the video for that clip, but only a solid red block and a 'media offline message.' Formerly, it did recognize huffyuv clips, but now it doesn't.

When I drag huffyuv.dll onto Vegas, it tells me "None of the files dropped onto vegas could be opened"

    It works now ^_^ !

Thank you so very much, It probably would've taken much random changing of settings before I tried that.
