An interesting problem has cropped up with ImgBurn in the last month. I've downloaded the last two tests of Fedora 7 --- they are supplied as dvd iso files, about 3gigs each --- and burned the isos to disk using ImgBurn. They burn fine and verify fine.
But they won't boot! Not only won't they boot, but neither can Windows or Linux read anything on the disks.I've tried *several* disks to make sure its not a media problem. I've tried to read the disks on three separate computers.
The same two iso files, burned to disk using Nero v6.6.1.15a, boot up and install perfectly. I'm using TDK media, but that would not seem to mean anything in this case...
I know that ImgBurn and Nero handle the burning of DVD video files ever-so-slightly differently --- could this have something to do with what is going on here?
Any thoughts? I must admit that I am completely stumped on this one. Thanks.
