I use Nero for CD burning mostly, but ImgBurn will burn most formats of CDs and it's freeware. Considering most of us burn CDs with DVD burners, it may be a good choice. And it's freeware. But most any burning program will do CDs well enough, even the one built into Windows.

And this is not really concerning 'Software Playing'. Moving you to the Computer Forum.

  6. InfraRecorder may be new to this community but so far it seems stable.

    http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/

It's another Frontend for CDRecord and has a conventional layout. It should look familiar to anyone who's tried a few different burning apps.

The are three versions; for Win9x-Me, for Win2k-XP (labeled unicode), and even a version that i'm currently trying on my WinXP_x64 system (the lost OS).

The software looks friendly but i can't say it's great since i just started using it.

I don't know if it works with Vista.

    --edit--

Well i guess it does work on Vista.
