    Hello,

I was able to capture every episode of a cartoon I used to love as a child that will never get released on dvd. I have some jpegs of character sketches and stuff like that. I want to make it an extra on the dvds I'm authoring, kinda like on some dvds where you have to use the skip chapter/back chapter button to see each separate image. I'm wondering how to do this. Is it just mpegs that are created of the jpegs that have a never ending loop and remain on the screen until you select the next one? I only have experience with tmpgenc dvd author and pgcedit though. Thanks

The simplest way to do this is to use menus. Make each picture a menu page, and use hidden buttons that auto execute to link to the next menu in the chain. You can then use the right and left arrow buttons instead of next and previous chapter.

If you used something like DLP you can add commands to chapter points, so you could create a single video with all your images, add chapter stops where they change, then add a hold to each chapter stop so the image pauses until the user moves on. You can possibly recreate this in TDA and PGCEdit by creating the chapter stops in TDA, then adding the commands in PGCEdit afterwards.
