Is anyone familiar with a program that can adjust the brightness of an mpeg or other formats? Free or otherwise. I have some video clips that I have taken and I would like to adjust the brightness, etc., before burning to a VCD. Thanks for any advice.

Most editing programs have levels filters. Can you post a representative still for analysis?

Thanks for the quick reply. The enclosed jpeg is 1 frame from an mpeg I have and would like to adjust and burn.

Sorry about that, but no image posted. Is there a format I should be using? I used JPEG in the allowed formats list but can't view.

    select the Img button
then add the jpg file name 123.jpg
    then hit Img button again.

Next use the : "Image or File" browse below to ID the file on your drive.

    That is a dark one.

Here is a quick correction using the Vegas levels filter. Most editors will have similar levels tools.

edDV, ty VERY much for your replies. I am obviously new to VCD burning and editing and I wasn't even sure that brightness correction was possible. I will experiment further. Once again, thank you for your time.
