I've never heard of that program. For just ripping DVDs to your hard drive, DVD Fab Decrypter works well, RipIt4Me is more versatile. Both work with the newer DVD encryptions. For older DVD encryptions, DVD Decrypter is one of the best rippers. These are all freeware and work better, IMO, than any payware programs out there.

After the DVD is ripped, you want to convert it to a different format? You could also rip with VOB2MPEG and that would give you a MPEG of the main movie, which you could convert to any format you want. There are no quality losses with this, as it just extracts the MPEGs from the DVD. And you don't have to deal with the VOBs, etc.

Or you could use AutoGK, or FairUse Wizard if you wanted to go from DVD to Xvid or Divx in more or less one step. This will give you a Xvid or Divx file of 700MB for CD use in fair quality, or better, a file of about 1.5GB with good quality.

I wouldn't convert to WMV, unless you have a particular reason. Xvid or Divx would be a better format, IMO.

I would convert to WMV or AVI so I can upload it into Windows Movie Maker. The VOB2MPEG doesnt format it to upload into Windows Movie Maker.

That's a known issue with Windows Movie Maker and MPEG-2 for some people. I'd use VOB2MPG then convert the MPEG to DV-AVI in virtualdub.
    If in doubt, Google it.
