Are DVD Recorders or TV Tuners better for recording video from video games? Which is better quality wise and around $100? I've been using a gamebridge to record video but its not that great. Would a dvd recorder record better?

I guess a dvd recorder would be better quality using s-video or component inputs from the console.
OT - I assume you're not using a high definition signal since you're using a tv tuner but if you're ever going to upgrade to a high definition source i.e. xbox 360's usual 1280*720p resolution then DVD recorders won't work.
According to here DVD recorders can not recieve HD or Progressive signals so even though if one has a component input the picture has to be sent via 480i and you can not use a 480p, 720p or 1080i.
