  1. I just loaded thunderbird (version 1.5.0.10 (20070221) ) and noticed my emails from after august 2006 have gone. Now I had some problems before, with symantec moving the profiles etc, but I solved that and it doesn't delete the profiles. So I'm not sure exactly what has happened, and I can't think of a reason why this would have happened.

How would I go about trying to retrieve them back? All the sent folders/trash/other folders are accurat and up to date, it's just the inbox folder missing emails...

cheers! I'm quite worked up lol, and need to chill down.

Have you verified that the program is pointed to the correct account, or to the global account? Also, if you configured a new account during setup, it is possible the missing emails are still in the global inbox (or the other way around).

  6. This seems to happen when you load t-bird over t-bird ...., it seems to kill your profile sometimes, but your e-mails still exist..... I posted something for this in a suse forum, I am sure it will work for windows as well ...
