How can i block a website?

she always downloads Massenger to my PC and i hate that!!!!!!
how can i block the MSN site from access??

If you change the administration rights on your computer you can prevent any programs from being installed without your knowledge.

Be aware that if you set your computer incorrectly you could lock yourself out of being able to add or change programs.

Go to the control panel and you will see an icon user accounts. Use this to add a new account for your sister giving her limited rights do not give her administration rights.

Then on your account password protect it.

You should then be able to add or remove programs but you sister will not if you do not let her log on with your account.

Yes. You have to log off before she can log in.

The way around this is to create a new account for you with limited rights and let her use that one and keep the original account for adding programs.

I can readily think of 3 ways and I would try them, in this order:

1. Ask her not to download it.

2. Tell her not to download it.

3. Use technology to prevent her from being able to download it.

1 & 2 are obviously very quick, easy and relatively pain-free as far as techo knowledge goes

3 can be done in a number of ways. Depends how forceful you want to get.
