I've been searching forums for hours, can't seem to find the exact answer I need.
What I have is a Handycam DVD-R with a VIDEO_TS folder that contains IFO, VOB, and BUP files. I would like to convert these files into one AVI file (or another compatible file with PE) that I can import into Adobe Premiere Elements for editing and coding for the Internet.
I've tried DVDdecrypter, MPEG Streamclip 1.1, some other freeware software, and also changed .VOB files to .mpg but nothing is working. Is there an easy way to make this conversion? I'm on a tight budget, so cost is prohibitive.
PE supports the following formats: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, DV, AVI, Windows Media®, QuickTime, JVC Everio MOD (import only), 3GP, ASF (import only), WAV, WMA (import only), Dolby® Digital Stereo, PSD (import only), JPEG, PNG (import only), DVD.
If anyone has a solution, some advice, somewhere for me to turn for help, I would be most appreciative. Frustrated at this point, but cheerfully plowing forward.
Thank you very much in advance.
