    Hi!

    Does anyone know if the PS3 can play divx/xvids? and if so, does it need anything doing to them (I remember someone saying divx needed converted to run on a PSP, is it the same on a PS3?)
    My mate got a PS3 at launch on friday, and is pretty disappointed, i thought i could cheer him up with some of my divx's!!!

    Divx files aren't able to be played on PS3 but you can convert them with PS3 Video 9 to a file format the PS3 can read.
