    I have downloaded my movies and most of them just open in windows media and I can just watch them from there. However, when I go to burn them in em.Nero 6, it takes 3 hours to burn them. What am I doing wrong.

    I have convertxtodvd, anydvd, imgburn, daemon tools, dvd shrink and nero.

    I'm not sure if I have to convert, compress or shrink before burning. Could this possibly be my
    my problem of my movies taking 3 hours to burn.

    I'm new to this so I apologize for anything that seems so simple.

    It is likely that it will take that long. Your videos are being converted to DVD compliant MPEGs which takes a while.

    You need to convert before burning. Nero converts and burns in one go that is why it take so long.
    You better use convertxtodvd to convert and imgburn to burn.
