    I ve been looking around, dvd shirnk didnt seem to help the problem, im tryin to compress some of my full dvds down to from about 4gb down to 200-500mb to fit onto my sisters imax. it is kinda like an ipod but cheaper and smaller hard drive.

    well what format does it require ? what resolution ?

    anyway - a 2 hour movie at 200mb is not going to look particularly good anyway ....

    this unit basically supports everything ...


    I would use super and encode a movie to xvid 352x240 res. -- you will have to crop it and make it fit a 4:3 ratio screen IF the source is wide screen .... audio should be 2 channel ac3 (which the dvd prob. already has) ..
