How do I use it do any video conversion.
WHICH command prompt to use???
Most websites give commands like
ffmpeg -i /inputfilenameWithAddress.extension /outputfilenameWithaddress.extension
but the forward slash does not work in Windows Command Prompt.

That's a big question. I'd suggest you start with downloading BackgroundCMD, which will give you a command prompt in any folder you navigate to - just by right clicking.

You don't need to use \ or / too much with ffmpeg. Most windows prompts use \ , as in
c:\windows\system32 to point to that folder on the hard drive. -
