  1. I plan on purchasing the ADVC300, but I will be using the device on a Windows Vista PC. Can anyone confirm that this will not be a problem for me? I have contacted Canopus by phone and e-mail, and am awaiting a response from them.

  2. I can't give specific experience with the Canopus, but all my FireWire devices (camcorders, hard drives, video decks) work just fine with Vista....

  3. Thanks a lot for the info. That gives me hope that it will work w/o any problems. I guess in a worst case scenario, I can always dual-boot XP and Vista if there is a problem. Thanks again.

My ADSTech PYRO A/V link works fine under Vista x64 ultimate. Your device should work just fine.

Dual-booting XP and Vista = Definitely recommended
