    DivX to Xvid in Virtualdub

I just wanted to convert a movie encoded in DivX 3 Low Motion MP3 VBR 48000Hz to Xvid MP3 CBR
Then I get the error ERROR CODE 512 ACMERR_NOTPOSSIBLE
Tried it two times but still same problem.
Im using VDub 1.6.14 . Maybe using TMPEG would help?
    Or VDub Mod?

    Thanks

You might want to try and extract your audio with full processing, recompress, and remux.

Same problem. Fixed by FFMpeg decode to wav and encode in Lame and include as new audio... suxx never the less. The result is still not playable, as the AVI file complaining about lack of WVC1 codec, even that I have FFDshow installed and configured and that it plays the video when it is into wmv format ...

Is there any particular reason you must convert to Xvid.

Both codecs are way past their prime.
