Ok so let me start by saying that I have been converting and trying different progs for years and now I am starting to get into some anime stuff in MKV. Some of these clips have dual trak audio IE..one in japanese and one in english. I would like to convert them from MKV into Divx or Xvid to watch on my dvd player. I have tried about five or so different programs so far and none of them allow you to access the diffferent audio traks seperatly while encoding takes place. I am running test now using VirtualDubMod where I did find a spot to disable one of the two traks while encoding however I guess this might be a trial and error test due to the fact that I really have no way of telling for sure which is which so I figured when I open the file in the VLC media player the trak on top of the list was jap so it is probably trak one so with that trak disabled in VDub I am now Re Encing and we will see what happens. Does anyone know of any other software out there that will let you have control of settings such as these::
Subtitling IE.. selection of the proper sub to use from a file that presently has them for the new enc.
Audio trak IE.. selection of the proper audio trak to use while enc.
Thanks in advance and I hope this topic has not been covered already.
