    Hi All,

I'm looking for a DVD author, which is easy to use (drag&drop style, I don't want to create sophisticated menus), does not recompile my mpg files, and supports srt (or sub) subtitle files.

I don't want any extra features. I have a set of mpg/srt files, and I want to author a DVD using these. I don't want no video processing or any advanced features, just a standalone compact author tool.

I've been using TDA, but now I need subtitles, an even though TDA3 supports subtitles, it's not possible to import any kind of pre-generated subs into it... (how lame, isn't it?)

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks!

Try Ulead's DVD MovieFactory 6 (the PLUS version probably has more features than you want/need -- so maybe the regular version will meet your needs)?

NOTE: only supports one subtitle track -- so if you need multiple subtitle tracks, then it won't work for you...

    Regards,
    George

Why pay for something when the best that fits exactly your needs is free? Try GUI for DVDauthor.

I'll second the recommendation for GUI for DVDAuthor.
