I have a client that has a couple thousand VHS tapes that need to be converted into digital format. They will eventually end up in flash on their web site. I've already processed their DVDs so I do have some experience and not a complete newbe.
I know I can send these off to be done by any number of companies on the web. But I would like to look into putting together my own system and do it in-house. I would like to set up multiple VHS players that are connected to the ADVC300. My question is does each station need to be hooked up to its own computer to capture the video or is there some way of capturing the video and directing the output to a network HD? I've contacted Conapus directly (left voicemail) but have not heard back from them as of yet.
Thanks very much.
Michael

Do some math first.
(2,000 tapes) times (average length of tape) equals how many minutes ?
Probably fastest way is to buy a bunch of VHS/DVD recorders and load them up and go ......... -
Not to mention multiple ADVC devices one for each VHS deck if in parallel. Don't bond your house for malpractice. You need a corporate shelter. More lawyer fees.
