    I'm following this tutorial:
    https://forum.videohelp.com/viewtopic.php?t=275603

    but instead of using Muxman im using IFOEdit since i need more than 8 subtitles..
    but the problem is that on my computer everything seems fine
    but when i play the finished dvd on my dvd player (apex 815) it doesn't
    show any subtitle..

    when i use muxman everything works.

    can anyone help me doing this method but with IFOEdit?

    Thanks in advanced.

    you say subtitles, do you mean menu options, movie choices to watch, because 'subtitle' makes me think of caption text

    I have never used IFOedit, so i can't help you with it.

    just seeking some clarification

    Try rejig to do your muxing.

    But do you really need more than 8? If you don't plan on calling the subs from the menu and only from your remote, you can just include the hebrew as one of the 8 as an easy solution....and still use muxman.

    Try rejig. I dunno if it can go more than 8 since I only use muxman pro, which can go more than 8. But as far as ifoedit I don't use it either.

  7. AFAIK you can also use more than 8 subtitles streams with muxman free version, but you have to save the project and edit the mxp file yourself. It is not a limitation of muxman as 'authoring engine', but only of the muxman gui.

    I never knew that, although I have altered the mxp file before, but not for audio or subs. I just did a quick test with 10 subs and it seems to work on the authored vobs. Thanks for the info. It's worth a try on your part shay86.

  10. You only need a text editor (even notepad is suitable).

    I haven't tried such many subtitles myself (I never had more than 3...), but I have often edited the mxp files (i.e. during the GfD -> 'GfM' development).

    Try it like this:
    Open MuxMan like 'normal'. Add your 8 possible subtitles.
    Save the project (File -> Save Project)
    Open the project file with a text editor.
    Scroll down to the section where the subtitles are defined:
    Code:
    		Item=Sub-Picture Stream
    		{
    			Stream Number=1
    ...

    		Item=Sub-Picture Stream
    		{
    			Stream Number=8
    			Language=en
    			Language Extension=1
    			Display Mode=unspecified
    			File=X:\Subs\TestSUP8.sup
    		}
    Now copy the part:
    Code:
    		Item=Sub-Picture Stream
    		{
    			Stream Number=8
    			Language=en
    			Language Extension=1
    			Display Mode=unspecified
    			File=X:\Subs\TestSUP8.sup
    		}
    as often as necessary and add a 1 to the stream number each time (and change the sup filename and language of cause).
    like:
    Code:
    		Item=Sub-Picture Stream
    		{
    			Stream Number=9
    			Language=la
    			Language Extension=1
    			Display Mode=unspecified
    			File=X:\Subs\TestSUP9.sup
    		}
    Save the mxp file.
    Open MuxMan like 'normal' and open the edited mxp file with File->Load project.
    Just click on Start.
    I just made a small test with 10 subtitles (same sup file for each, just using another language)=> No problem.
