Probably this is a dumb question, but I need to join several audio files.

I have audacity and its reported to be a good audio joiner.

So far I couldnt find a way to do it.

Can someone please inform how to join 2 or more audio files with audacity ??

    tks for yr help.

Open Audacity, play audio tracks in your media player, and record, pause or stop after ea, track and record tracks wanting to join, then save as wave or edit and save as MP3's..
at least thats how I've done it... may be other ways..
You could also play complete audio cd,record it all and cut/edit out tracks not needed or desired, using the slider I beam cursor by putting at end of selection then drag left to starting point. takes
a little effort and time but really nice program IMO!!
    Hope that makes sense....good luck!

Open Audacity and open the first audio file. Then go to File/Import/Audio and import the second file. Click on the lower track(s) and select the entire track (can do Edit/Select/All), then Edit/Copy. Then click on the end of the upper track(s) and click Edit/Paste. Delete the lower tracks then Export As selected type.

Edit: Actually it's been a while since I've done this. Select All might not work as it might select all channels, but you can click on the tracks and select what you want to copy with the mouse.
