    Having problems making both VCD + SVCD using 2pass VBR.
    Tried different average/minimum/maximum bitrates but the output file stays the same size.
    Is this a quirk with my current version of TMGEnc (2.02) or have I got something else wrong?
    Trying to reduce average bitrate slightly to fit CD.

    XVCD: Do you use a lower avg bitrate than 1150 kbps?
    Then select at the system tab Stream type "VideoCD[non-standard]"

    Thanks. That did the trick. I guess standard VCD must buffer the stream to make it standard.
