Not sure if I saw this posted here before but a search didn't bring up anything, anyhow it's definitely worth posting again for those that missed it the first time if it was. Streaming audio of live concerts from some of the greatest acts of all time in their prime. Including but not limited to B.B.King, Eric Clapton, Cream, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, CCR , CSN&Y and that's just a few I can think of off the top of my head.

So you're thinking to yourself ........hmmmmmmmmm what's the catch... I can't find one. You gotta register but once registered there's no pop-ups, no ads, no ridiculous amount of clicks to find the music. you can even make your own dam playlist! Now that's music done right. The Quality isn't super great but it's adequate for free.

Onto the reason I'm posting, I came across this on the front page:

    Downloads Coming in April
We are excited to announce that we will launch Concert Vault downloads in April. The philosophy behind our design and development is straightforward - make the service easy to use, set fair prices and deliver great quality music.

At the outset, our concert download files will be encoded as unrestricted 256k mp3 files (twice the bitrate delivered by iTunes and most other major digital services). Our testing showed...
If you read further into the article you'll find they will eventually be offering lossless downloads. They will be selling each concert as one piece for $10. Apparenlty all legit, this site has been up for quite some time now and it's still there. I've found a few articles about some lawsuits flying around but here's hoping it stays, I know I'll be at the front door with credit card in hand.

My personal favorite so far..... Steppewolf "Baby Please don't Go" 1968
